ABOUT US
Founded in 1985 and entering our 40th year, our purpose is to: to further the appreciation, knowledge and understanding of the fine and decorative arts. In accomplishing this goal, GDAS provides and promotes educational programs on the decorative arts, such as engaging scholars to lecture on topics of interest. GDAS also provides educational opportunities to further the knowledge of the decorative arts with sponsored trips and tours.
The Society stands out as a significant contributor to the cultural enrichment of the Tri-State Area.
The logo was adapted from an 18th century sugar caster made by silversmith Peter Van Dyke.
